Oattada..
It is a super delicious breakfast in Malabar region. Let's see how we can prepare..... Ingredients 1. Rice Flour -2cup 2. Egg – 2. 3. Salt to taste. 4. Water as required. Method of preparation : 1. Take a bowl and beat the eggs well with a spoon and mix with rice flour ,salt and water (to make batter). 2.Take a mixer, Grind And make medium-thick consistent batter like that of Dosa (without lumps). 3.Heat ottada pan (mud pan) onto the stove top. And keep the flame to high so that the pan gets heated. 4.Then reduce the flame and pour one ladle full of batter onto this. Do not flatten it with the ladle as we do usually for dosa. When you see bubbles or holes coming out, Then cover it. 5.When the appam is fully filled with holes and it looks cooked, take out from the thava. No need to flip them. 6.Serve with coconut milk, chicken or egg curry. 7.Enjoy!!!!!
